The US has experienced an overall decrease in the amount of annual snowfall (1) and snowpack (2). This is detrimental to habitats, water supplies, and recreation.

The Climate Project focuses on natural disaster rates and intensity in the US, however, climate change disproportionally affects various parts of the Earth. Please continue to educate yourself on how climate change related disasters impact other countries.
